Unite for Progress: Embracing the Power of Labor Unions!

This week I attended the bi-annual Candidate Education Night with the Greater Syracuse Labor Council, hosted by the Syracuse Teachers Association. Presenters from various sectors discussed topics affecting union workers and their families. Thank you, Director Mark Spadafore, for organizing & to the Syracuse Teachers Association for hosting this important event.

Labor Unions play a crucial role in protecting and advancing the interests of workers in the labor force. They promote fairness, protect workers' rights, and foster better working conditions, benefiting not only union members but also the broader labor force and society as a whole. They play a critical role in shaping the modern workplace and advocating for a more equitable and just society.

These workers are our friends, family and neighbors. The people who help our community thrive.

I firmly believe in the importance of labor unions and the positive impact they have on workers' lives. Unions provide a collective voice for employees, advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and better benefits. I support labor unions because they empower workers, promote economic equality, and contribute to building a more just and inclusive society.
