I, Blake Carter, strongly condemn the misallocation of ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds for projects that are not intended for COVID relief. Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon spent federal stimulus money on a video that sounds a lot like a campaign ad.

This video was produced by the same marketing firm that produced McMahon’s television ads for the last election. The Mooney Marketing Group won the government job with no competition. This also cost Onondaga County taxpayers $5,950, county records show. Money that should have been put to work directly on projects that would help our community!
